Julia Kuzmina joined FRAEC in 2008 bringing five years professional business consultancy experience on Sakhalin. Before assuming her position as Director of the FRAEC LLC Business Center, Julia was a Partner with the Sakhalin-Alaska Consulting Group LLC, and prior to that the Program Coordinator “ECOLinks”, the Information Manager with the Russian-British Center under support from the British Council and BP, and a Program Manager with the Citizen’s Democracy Corps, Inc. Julia is highly fluent in English and uniquely qualified to provide business consulting and services for foreign firms on Sakhalin and in the Russian Far East. Julia’s education includes a business development program with the University of Alaska, Anchorage, a certificate in management, marketing and financial management with the Open British University, and customer care certification from the British Council. Julia graduated with a degree from the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk Teacher’s Training Institute in English and German.
